2026-27 Program/Meeting Schedule
Meetings/Programs are held at the Ruth Anne Bleakney Senior Center, 60 North Bow St., Milford. Meet & Greet and refreshments begin at 5:45, Business meetings at 6:15 and Programs at 7:00.
September 21, 2026 – Meet & Greet, Business Meeting, Program. Program is “Roses with the Chutes from Rose Solutions”. Mike and Angelina will tell us all about David Austin rose care.
October 19, 2026 – Meet & Greet, Business Meeting, Program. Program is “Forcing Bulbs”. Kathi Gariepy from the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association will have valuable information on forcing bulbs.
November 16, 2026 – Fall Fundraiser at the Hoboken Club. Doors open at 6 pm. Our annual fall fundraiser includes refreshments, raffle baskets and a floral arranging program by Patrice Iacovelli, former owner of Francis Flowers in Milford.
December 7, 2026 – Meet & Greet, Business Meeting, Program. Program will be a Christmas centerpiece workshop with members Gail Reichert and Gina Hylander.
January, 2027 – No Meeting/Program
February 8, 2027 – Meet & Greet, Business Meeting, Program. Program is “What’s Wrong with my Houseplant?” with Bonnie Power from the Massachusetts Master Gardener Association.
March 8, 2027 – Meet & Greet, Business Meeting, Program. Program is “Pollinators 2.0” Betsy Szymzak will provide information that the home gardener might want to consider when planning a garden friendly to pollinators.
April 12, 2027 – Meet & Greet, Business Meeting, Program. Program is “Composting” with Andrew Brousseau from Black Earth Compost.
May 10, 2027 – Meet & Greet, Business Meeting, Program. Business meeting is to wrap up the year and to elect next year’s officers. Program is Plant Bingo with Rita Barrette and Martha Irving.
June , 2027 Annual Meeting Banquet Our annual dinner to celebrate the year’s accomplishments and install our new officers.
